  Preview Day Information

TALENT SHOW PREVIEW DAYS!
Preview Days for registered performers in the Willard Talent Show will be held in the Willard Auditorium on Tuesday, February 14 (12:30-2:30) and Wednesday, February 15 (3:30-5:00).  (Performers selected a Preview Day when they submitted their registration on January 23.) 

Attendance at one of the Preview Days is required in order for your child to participate in the show. Preview Days are the first (and only) time that your children will perform their act on the stage or in the Music Practice Room in front of the Talent Show Committee.  We use this opportunity: to watch the act in its entirety (Don't forget, all acts must be 1 and  ½ minutes or less!), to make supportive suggestions to the performers, to collect the CD's we require if the act has pre-recorded music, to organize how we will manage any props, to sell tickets for the show, and to help us organize the show in a manner most interesting to the audience.  

For important information about Preview Day, you are encouraged to read the Preview Day Information.  Please note: Students need to be completely prepared with their entire act, recorded music, costume (if applicable), props, script (if applicable), and tuned musical instrument (if applicable). Due to the huge number of acts in this year’s show, all acts must be 90 seconds or less, no exceptions! If your child’s act requires pre-recorded music, then you MUST leave a copy of their music, edited to the under 90 second time limit, on a CD, at Preview Day.

TALENT SHOW NEEDS SET PARENTS!
Parents, join the fun and be an important part of this year’s Willard Talent Show!  “Set Parents” are still needed to guide our young performers backstage throughout the show.    On Friday, March 30, you will need to attend the portion of the dress rehearsal during which your “set” of acts perform (sometime between 4-9:00pm).  On the afternoon of the show (Sunday, April 1), you need to be at CCHS no later than 1:30pm.

DRESS REHEARSAL (mandatory) is Friday, March 30, 3:30-9:00 p.m. at the Concord-Carlisle High School Auditorium.
Note: Performers and Stage Crew will be informed of their specific rehearsal times in early to mid-March.

THE TALENT SHOW is Sunday, April 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Concord-Carlisle High School Auditorium.
Note: Performers, Stage Crew, and Refreshment Crew must arrive promptly at 1:30 p.m
